Great traps Great price Caught over 150 raccoons using these traps. I would recommend these for raccoons.

3 out of 4 are so sensitive that they go off by themselves after being set, need to have longer trip bar.

Product is good, only complaint is the dog isn't easy to set in the trigger gap. Definitely need a set tool and some of them you can't even set because the dog isn't long enough to go in the gap.

Just got back into trapping after 30 + years. First time with the dog proof raccoon traps. They are easy and quick to set. Love them!

Easy to use, ordered 8 in white and 12 galvanized, no problems after 2 weeks of use. First time setting them is hard but after some use the springs loosen a little and they're much easier to set.

The DPs were a great price and had prior experience using them. What I didn’t realize is the trigger pull is an issue. DO NOT USE out of the box. Go thru and check each one, I had a couple bent dogs, and a couple that needed serious tweaking. After numerous clean outs I finally realized what the problem was. The trigger pull is excessive. Do your homework before using/buying.

I set these dps out and for some reason I always have a coon waiting on me the next morning? Is this normal haha they work good

Easy to set, good design.

A month ago I purchased half dozen white and 1 dozen brown and most all of them the dogs have bent just setting the traps and at least 8 or so the jaws are bent also trigger pull is way to strong you almost have to lightly set them and risk false triggering just for a chance to catch a coon I had 4 just this morning that had been pulled out of the ground wrapped around trees and traps didn’t even go off I am very unhappy with these traps.

Had same prob with trigger needed to file did have a couple of pullouts same with coilsprings! Cleanouts too use trapperscaps!! They catch skunks&possums too so take a kid or adult with u it wont matter what u catch they just might get hooked on the trapping lifestyle!!

It works very well. I’ve never had a miss with it.

This is a great trap at a great price. The trap is easy to set and maintain. I enjoyed the fact that it is white to attract attention it helps grab a raccoons attention without any added time. I have noticed the paint is chipping off rather quick and if you have a big boar coon that really works it can rub the trap free of most of the paint rather quickly.

good looking trap I haven't used them yet so that's all I can tell you right now.

I was able to help one of the guys down at our hunting club this year do some trapping. I fell in love with trapping. We used these traps in camo so i came to this site and ordered some in white. I will be ready for this years trapping season. The staff was very helpful in answering questions i had. Minor shipping mistake which was taken vare of with one phone call. I will definitely bit from this company again.

The trap seems to be well made... and although it is supposed to be dog proof the second day it was set my son caught a red fox in his.. Regardless he was very happy with it!

I bought two of these DP's to thin a mob of coons that have been terrorizing my property for the past 3 years. The first night I set one trap to 'get a feel' for the process. Within 6 hours I had my first. Day 2 had same results, except this big boar managed to pull his hand free. I think that was more beginner-error than any reflection on the trap itself though.

In 3 1/2 years I've eliminated 185 coons--- Best trap ever

Bought 6 of these traps the first night everyone of them the coons got the bait out of them and none of them went off. I used small marshmallows. One of the six traps would not stay set I to get a hammer and hit the trigger in some to make it work properly

Easy to set and very effective and color does not matter. Have white and brown both are great

I'm not a trapper, just needed to thin down some nuence coons. Followed the directions, used Fleming bait and lure and was very successful!

I use DPs almost all the time , I tapped a opossum the first they I set this and I only used one white dp out of my whole line to test. I recommend these for sure.
